World's Toughest Row – Atlantic
LA GOMERA TO ANTIGUA: 3000 MILES
World's Toughest Row – Atlantic, is an annual event with up to 30 teams racing across the Atlantic Ocean in rowing boats.
It starts in early December at San Sebastian in the Canary Islands and finishes at Antigua in the West Indies.
We’ll be rowing for 2 hours then sleeping for 2 hours constantly, 24 hours a day. On bad days waves will measure up to 20ft high. On average we’ll each lose 12kg on the journey, each day burning 5000 calories and drinking 10 litres of water.
Competitors fund their boat with advertising and raise money for charity through sponsorships. We’re at the start of that journey, and training hard for the race.

In the past 4 years the race has raised over £5 million for charities worldwide. It’s organised by the experienced and dedicated team at Atlantic Campaigns, based in San Sebastian de La Gomera. Thanks to them you’ll be able to follow our boat with an app and on this website, and there will be plenty of media and social media coverage.
We'll be updating this site regularly. Come back soon! In the meantime take a look at:
